As a former bride myself, I think all brides can relate when I say the last month before the big day is packed full of craziness. I called Maria two weeks before her big day to check in and see how she was doing. Her voice was calm and rather upbeat as she told me the seamstress who was supposed to be making her dress quit and she had to find one locally. Then, she landed herself in the hospital for acute appendicitis for a week, and the offer they had put on a house fell through. My jaw dropped as I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Maria wasn’t having normal last month before “I Do” trouble, she was going through much worse. However, she took it all in stride and made the best of every situation thrown her way. She found a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown, her health was better, and they simply would stay in her condo until they found the perfect home. In the end, it all worked out and Maria and Carlos were married and celebrated among friends and family at the beautiful Ocean Club in Key Biscayne.
Maria and Carlos, I couldn’t be happier for you two. The way you look at each other with adoration and love is inspiring. I wish you all the happiness in the world as you embark on this new journey. I hope you enjoy just a few of the many amazing moments from your wedding day. I can’t wait to share the rest with you!
The day started off with the girls getting ready at the beautiful Ritz Carlton. Maria was surrounded by her mother, all her sisters, and precious nieces.
Her niece was nervous to read during the ceremony so she spent a few minutes rehearsing
How adorable are these two fixing their bows?!
Maria, you are a gorgeous bride!
Carlos had his new brother-in-law and father-in-law there to help him get ready
He makes one handsome groom!
