Becky and Derek: Pittsburgh Day After Session

The next morning after Becky and Derek’s wedding, I rolled out of bed and felt my sore muscles tense beneath my weight. I walked over to the window and peeked out and saw the sun! Suddenly the soreness disappeared and I was giddy with excitement to shoot Becky and Derek’s day after session. We planned to hike to a waterfall and then do some casual photos around downtown Pittsburgh. I was so thankful the sun was out in full force as we didn’t really see much of it on their wedding day. I have to give a shout out to Derek for being such a good husband and not complaining one time while we had him hike up a mountain in a tux. The cool air from the day before had gone and it was definitely steamy in the woods. He knew how much this mean’t to Becky and would do anything to make her happy. Becky was so excited she practically sprinted up the mountain as the rest of us breathed heavily behind her. We blamed it on the altitude and the fact that Becky zumbas seven days a week, multiple times a day, definitely put her at an advantage 😉  It was all worth it though for the following pictures.

I adore how Derek makes Becky laugh. I hope you continue to make her laugh this way for the rest of your lives.

Model faces….
Then we changed into more comfortable clothes and made our way to downtown Pittsburgh. They didn’t get a chance to do an engagement session due to the distance so we wanted to capture a few relaxed pictures. Like I said before, they are both huge sports fans so it only seemed fitting for them to wear matching shirts. We rode the incline to the top of Mt. George to get the best view of the city.
After dinner I asked them for one more in front of the bridge. I love the way bridges look at night.
