Kelsey & Alex: Palm Beach Engagement

When Kelsey called me in regards to her December wedding, I asked her how the planning was going and she replied, “Great! I just started this week.” Let me throw in there that Kelsey contacted me the last week of August. I was surprised how calm she was considering she only had a little over 3 months to plan her wedding. She had already made the big important decisions as far as the date, venue, and finding the perfect dress. She wasn’t sweating the small stuff. Kelsey enlisted the help of her sister and fast forward to her October engagement session and I asked how everything was going, she replied, “Great! We’re just finalizing everything now.” This girl is superwoman! She knows what she wants and has no problem making a decision. I’m so excited to see how everything comes together at their wedding and couldn’t be happier for these two.

We started off the session incorporating their adorable one year old German Shepherd, Missy. She was full of energy and definitely ruled the shoot, but I think we got some cute ones once we tired her out.

The photo below cracks me up. Missy had just given her Dad a big wet kiss and their reactions are priceless!

Alex loves his car almost as much as he loves Kelsey so we decided to incorporate it into a few photos.

These two are some good looking people

I’ll admit I’ve been a little obsessed with silhouettes lately but with a sky like that how can you not be?

We ended the night at the Royal Poinciana Chapel and lost light quickly but were able to snag a few with the gorgeous tree on the property.
