Courtney & Randy: Hilton Key Largo Wedding

Blue skies, a warm breeze, and the scent of salt in the air made for the perfect Key Largo day. Courtney and Randy couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to share their love for one another with their closest family and friends. I was so honored when Courtney asked me to photograph her wedding as she’s a wedding photographer herself. It’s always a little nerve wracking to photograph a colleague who participates in the same craft as you. Luckily, she was very laid back throughout the whole day and allowed me to use my own creativity to capture her day. I hope I didn’t disappoint! The soft color palette of grey and yellow complimented the gorgeous Hilton Key Largo back drop and small handmade details made it unique. I’ll let the images speak for themselves!

Courtney and Randy, it was a pleasure to be a part of your special day. You have become dear friends of mine and I love watching your family grow and getting the opportunity to photograph your major milestones. I hope you’re having an amazing time on your honeymoon and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

Courtney’s Vera Wang dress was stunning. I loved the movement and texture.

Courtney and Randy’s adorable daughter, Evan, played a big part in their wedding. She stopped by while daddy was getting ready to give us a big toothy smile!

I have to take a moment here and thank my wonderful husband for assisting me. Photographing a wedding while 7 months pregnant is no easy feat. He graciously carried all of my gear and even took some photos for me. He made sure I stayed hydrated and never once complained. I’m so thankful to have him by my side and think he should now attend every wedding with me. 😉

The two left hand photos from the first look are actually his! My man can work a camera!

Courtney you are a gorgeous bride!

Randy’s uniform consists of shorts, a t-shirt, sandals, a hat, and sunglasses. It’s what I see him in all the time. I kept having to tell him to take his sunglasses off so we decided to get a few with them.

After Evan grabbed a quick nap she was full of smiles for some pictures with mommy and daddy. I adore these!

Following the ceremony, we grabbed a few more photos in the last bit of the sunset. I love the softness of these photos.

This is my favorite shot of the day and one of my favorite moments as well. I like to take a step back and allow the bride and groom room to breathe and really take in their wedding day. It goes by so fast, so any quiet time is always good.

The table decor was simple and beautiful. All the table names, menu cards, and cupcakes were handmade by Courtney and her bridesmaid, Heather.

I love that they chose to a family dance with Evan. She was amused by all the guests clapping to the rhythm for them.
