Richie & Brittany: Newport Beachside Resort Wedding

Brittany and Richie will always have a special place in my heart. They came to me a year in advance and without question knew they wanted me to capture their wedding day. I have to admit I was rather nervous when I found out I was pregnant and due close to their wedding date. I told Brittany right away and offered to refund her retainer if she wanted to go with someone else since I didn’t know what was going to happen as the wedding approached. Babies have their own agenda and can change your plans at any moment. Brittany was so kind and genuinely excited for me and said she would take her chances because she really wanted me there. I’m so thankful my little guy stayed put and I was able to witness them vow their love for one another. Their wedding day was beautiful and you could feel the excitement in the air. I’ve never seen Brittany so happy and glow so bright as she did on her wedding day. She has truly found a sou lmate in Richie and he completes their family. He is an amazing father to Brittany’s son and an over all amazing person.

Brittany and Richie, I want to wish you a lifetime of happiness. I know your future together has some amazing things in store. May you always find the joy in life and continue to grow together.

It was such a sweet moment when Brittany’s grandmothers came in to see her for the first time.
Brittany, you are gorgeous! You were glowing brighter than the sun that day. Simply stunning

Richie made quite a handsome groom as well. He knew how to work the camera

That is a groom who is blown away by his beautiful bride. I love moments like that.

In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, I thought I would include them with their beautiful moms.

Being 37 weeks pregnant, I left the reception early after their first dance. I hate missing out on all the great moments that take place throughout the reception, but my body couldn’t take any more. I want to give a very special thank you to Courtney of Courtney-J Photography and Rachael of Rachael Ice Photography for taking over the rest of the night and capturing beautiful images. The emotion in the parent dances is so moving. I wish I had witnessed them in person, but the photos really capture the moments beautifully.
