Brian & Jessica: Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove Wedding

I entered the bridal suite and there was a buzz of excitement in the air. Jessica had her back to me as I first came through the door and when she turned around, she took my breath away. Just standing there in her bridal sweatsuit with her hair and make-up done, she looked gorgeous. There was a glow around her and you could see she was so excited and nervous for her big day. Everything about Jessica and Brian’s wedding was soft, classic, and romantic. From Jessica’s mother’s pearls, to the soft hues of the flowers, and the traditional ceremony, their day could not have been more beautiful.

Jessica and Brian, I hope you had an amazing, relaxing honeymoon and soaked up every moment of your time together. I wish you both many years of laughter, happy tears, and warm hugs. May your lives continue to be blessed as you begin your journey as husband and wife.

The bridal preps and reception took place at the gorgeous Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove and the ceremony at the First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables.

I love this moment of Jessica’s parents escorting her to her first look. Jessica chose to have her Dad walk her toward her soon-to-be husband and have Brian turn around to see her coming toward him. I love this different approach to the first look as it keeps with some traditions of having the bride’s father give her away and the groom gets to see the whole vision of his beautiful bride coming toward him.

Being a daddy’s girl myself, the moment he gives his little girl away is always one of my most favorite moments.

I also love the moment in the ceremony where the bride and groom look back at their guests as they’re announced as husband and wife for the first time. They always express so much joy and happiness.

I had to include this bridal portrait of Jessica. Isn’t she stunning?

The decor in the reception was breathtaking. I adore the long table for the bridal party and family.
