I opened the door to the after care room and as soon as I stepped inside I heard a scream of excitement, “JULIE!!!” Madison comes bounding over to me with a big smile and gives me a quick hug before running back to her table to tell all her friends that her Tia has come to pick her up. She hands me a picture she colored and immediately says it’s for baby Logi. She skips out the door with me and as I buckle her into the car I can’t stop thinking, “When did she get so big?!” Madison continues to grow into such a beautiful young lady. She’s super smart, testing at a second level in kindergarten, has a huge heart, only wants to wear “pretty” clothes, has no fear of any and all animals, swims like a fish, and of course has her sassy moments. I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
I’m also incredibly grateful for her mother, Terry. She has done an amazing job raising her, even though the odds were not in her favor at times. She is such a selfless mother, always putting Madison first, and making sure she has the best childhood possible. I love you both dearly!
Madison is currently taking Hip Hop, Tap, and Ballet. I can’t take credit for a lot of these poses. She came up with them all on her own. It was so much fun this year since she was actually into taking pictures!
