Chrissy and I have known each other for a few years, but we lost touch when we both left our receptionist job to pursue our careers. I was so excited when I saw she announced her and Brian were pregnant and was secretly hoping I’d be able to photograph her maternity and newborn session. The day my phone beeped and I saw it was a message from Chrissy, I squealed with excitement. We chatted back and forth online and then decided we really should just get together in person, so we did, and it was like no time had lapsed. We talked all things pregnancy, birth, babies, and life in between. Chrissy and Brian are planning an all natural birth and I wasn’t surprised to hear it. Chrissy has always been a lover of nature, animals, and the environment. So when we discussed the look she wanted for her session, a woodland, hippie style fit perfectly. I LOVE the way these images came out and can’t wait to meet their precious daughter!
