Every time I met with Karina and Yesenia they couldn’t help but beam with excitement to be getting married. They poured their heart and souls into their wedding and handmade a lot of the beautiful details. When the day finally arrived for them to stand before their family and friends and promise themselves to each other, their smiles grew that much more.
Every wedding has it’s hiccups and Karina and Yesenia’s wedding was no different. On the way to the ceremony, Yesenia’s limo got into a small accident on the expressway. Thankfully everyone was okay and no serious damage was done. This delayed their ceremony by an hour and a half. I was so impressed the way the girls took it in stride and stayed focus on the primary reason for the day, for them to be married. They each kept saying they just wanted to see the other and everything would be okay. Well, when they walked down that aisle and Yesenia turned to see the love of her life making her way down the aisle, she literally took her breath away and you could see all her nerves disappear. They share a gentle and caring love. One that is so honest and real.
Karina and Yesenia, I couldn’t be happier for the two of you and I wish you nothing but the best. A life full of laughter, happiness, and love. Just remember to take each hiccup in stride as you did on your wedding day. The two of you together can do anything.
We started off the day capturing the girls getting ready in their parent’s home beginning with Yesenia…
A HUGE thank you to Jenny of Klix Photo and Design for coming down to second shoot. The following photos are hers of Karina getting ready.
Yesenia shared a quiet moment with her dad moments before they walked down the aisle. Photo on the left courtesy of Jenny
This is the moment Karina took Yesenia’s breath away. Jenny’s angle on the left and mine on the right.
I LOVE this wide shot Jenny captured of the ceremony
I adore the way the girls included their baby brother’s in the ceremony as their best men
We only had a short amount of time before the sun was gone so we took full advantage and grabbed as many portraits as we could and then played around with some night shots too
Jenny’s image below is GORGEOUS!
The Deering Estate is a beautiful old home with lots of texture. I played with my editing style to give it that certain mood.
The photo below is my favorite of the night
These two certainly know how to party so I had to create a separate post just for the reception. Part 2 will be coming soon!
